The Yokogawa WT500 Power Analyzer is a compact precision power analyser designed for accurate single-phase and three-phase electrical power measurement across laboratory, industrial, compliance, and production testing environments. The WT500 platform combines high measurement accuracy, wide bandwidth operation, harmonics capability, and high-speed data acquisition within a compact benchtop instrument suitable for advanced power electronics and energy efficiency applications.
The WT500 supports simultaneous measurement of voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, frequency, harmonics, crest factor, and energy parameters for detailed electrical analysis and power conversion efficiency evaluation. The analyser provides basic power accuracy of 0.1% with measurement bandwidth from DC and 0.5 Hz up to 100 kHz, making the instrument suitable for testing inverters, switching power supplies, variable frequency drives, renewable energy systems, UPS equipment, transformers, household appliances, and industrial motor control systems.
The instrument supports voltage measurement ranges from 15 V to 1000 V and direct current measurement ranges from 0.5 A to 40 A with high-speed sampling and fast 100 ms data update rates for dynamic waveform analysis and transient power monitoring applications. Optional external sensor inputs, harmonic analysis capability, delta calculation functions, GP-IB communications, Ethernet connectivity, and additional frequency measurement functions are available depending on configuration and installed options.
The WT500 includes a 5.7-inch TFT colour display supporting numerical, waveform, trend, vector, and bar graph displays for real-time visualisation of electrical parameters and harmonics analysis. USB communications and memory interfaces are provided as standard for remote operation, logging, and data export applications. The platform is suitable for laboratory R&D, production QA testing, compliance verification, renewable energy analysis, industrial troubleshooting, and precision electrical efficiency measurement workflows.
