DESCRIPTION:

The VIAVI E4136C-PC 4100 Module C OTDR is a professional high-performance optical time domain reflectometer module engineered for fibre installation, qualification, troubleshooting, and maintenance workflows across telecom, datacentre, enterprise, metro, long-haul, core, and FTTx/PON environments. Designed for use with VIAVI OneAdvisor 800, T-BERD/MTS-2000 V2, T-BERD/MTS-4000 V2, and MTS-5800 platforms, the module delivers advanced long-range OTDR analysis capability within a modular portable field-testing architecture.

The E4136C-PC configuration supports singlemode OTDR testing at 1310 nm, 1550 nm, and 1625 nm wavelengths, enabling fibre construction testing, preventative maintenance, live network troubleshooting, and high-capacity transport network qualification from a single module. The integrated 1625 nm wavelength supports in-service fibre analysis without disrupting active traffic in supported optical network environments. 

Built on the VIAVI 4100 Series Module C architecture, the platform provides extended dynamic range capability for long-haul, core transport, metro, submarine landing, wireless x-haul, and high-density optical infrastructure testing applications. The module supports Smart Link Mapper graphical fibre analysis, automated OTDR workflows, multi-trace result display, advanced event analysis, and VIAVI Test Process Automation integration for streamlined field operation and reporting. 

The E4136C-PC uses PC optical connector configuration with compatibility for interchangeable SC, LC, and FC connector adapters depending on installed adapter type.
