DESCRIPTION:

The VIAVI E4136C-FCOMP-PC is a 4100 Series FiberComplete Module C OTDR engineered for comprehensive fibre qualification, certification, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing across telecom, datacentre, enterprise, utility, and transport network environments. Designed for use with VIAVI OneAdvisor 800, T-BERD/MTS-2000 V2, and T-BERD/MTS-4000 V2 platforms, the module combines bidirectional insertion loss (IL), optical return loss (ORL), fibre length measurement, and OTDR analysis within a single compact test module and optical port.

The E4136C-FCOMP-PC supports 1310 nm, 1550 nm, and 1625 nm singlemode testing with up to 45 dB dynamic range, enabling accurate qualification and troubleshooting of long-haul, metro, FTTx/PON, wireless fronthaul, backhaul, datacentre, and core transport fibre infrastructure. The FiberComplete architecture simplifies field workflows by consolidating multiple fibre acceptance tests into one automated test sequence with unified result storage and reporting.

Designed for rapid field deployment, the module provides real-time continuity verification, instant fibre length measurement, automated bidirectional IL/ORL testing, and integrated OTDR analysis from a single connection. VIAVI’s optional FiberComplete PRO software further enables instant bidirectional OTDR measurement with TrueBIDIR functionality for accelerated fibre certification workflows.

The PC variant includes PC optical connector configuration and is intended for professional fibre installation, network commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and fibre acceptance applications where high-confidence fibre qualification and standards-based certification are required.
