The VIAVI 41OSA-PC OSA-4100 Optical Spectrum Analyzer is a professional modular optical analysis solution engineered for wavelength analysis, optical channel verification, DWDM/CWDM validation, and optical transport troubleshooting across telecom, datacentre, metro, enterprise, and transport network environments. Designed for use with VIAVI OneAdvisor 800, T-BERD/MTS-2000 V2, T-BERD/MTS-4000 V2, T-BERD/MTS-5800, and CellAdvisor 5G platforms, the module provides high-resolution optical spectrum analysis capability within a compact field-ready architecture.

The OSA-4100 supports full-band optical spectrum analysis from 1260 nm to 1650 nm, enabling technicians to validate CWDM, DWDM, MWDM, and LWDM optical transport systems during installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting operations. The platform measures optical channel power, wavelength, channel offset, and optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR) for amplified and high-capacity optical transport links.

Designed for field deployment within metro and access optical environments, the Nano OSA architecture combines compact rugged construction with fast full-band scanning capability in under 5 seconds. The integrated SFP/SFP+ slot allows technicians to validate and program pluggable transceivers directly within the field platform, improving wavelength activation and service turn-up efficiency.

The 41OSA-PC variant uses PC optical connector configuration and supports interchangeable SC, FC, LC, and ST adapter systems depending on installed adapter type.
