The Softing WireXpert 4500 is a professional high-performance cable certifier engineered for certification testing of copper and fibre optic cabling systems within enterprise networks, data centres, and industrial Ethernet environments. Designed to support next-generation structured cabling standards, the WireXpert 4500 provides certification testing up to CAT8 and Class I & II standards with measurement capability up to 2500 MHz.

The platform supports certification of CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, CAT7, CAT7A, and CAT8 copper infrastructure alongside multimode and singlemode fibre certification testing. The WireXpert 4500 is approved for Bel Stewart CAT8.2 and ISO Class II certification requirements, supporting high-speed Ethernet applications including 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T deployments.

Softing’s Dual Control System™ architecture provides identical graphical displays and full operational control on both local and remote units, significantly improving troubleshooting efficiency and certification workflow speed during field operation. The system supports rapid autotest functionality with typical CAT6A certification times under 9 seconds.

The WireXpert 4500 also supports fibre certification at 850/1300 nm multimode and 1310/1550 nm singlemode wavelengths, with professional reporting capability through Softing eXport software.
