Using a visible 650 nm red laser source with 5 mW output power, the FFL-105 enables technicians to visually locate fibre damage by illuminating stressed or broken sections of fibre cable. The unit supports both continuous and flashing illumination modes for improved visibility during fibre tracing, cable identification, and maintenance operations.
The rugged shock-absorbing construction and extended battery life make the FFL-105 suitable for telecom, FTTH, enterprise, datacom, and outside plant fibre environments. The integrated universal 2.5 mm connector interface supports SC, ST, and FC connectors, while the included 1.25 mm adapter enables compatibility with LC and MU fibre connectors.
