Professional research-grade thermal imaging system combining the FLIR A400 thermal camera, advanced analysis software, Wi-Fi connectivity, MSX® image enhancement, and close-up measurement capability for scientific, R&D, and industrial testing applications.

DESCRIPTION:

The FLIR A400 Professional Science Kit is a complete thermal imaging solution designed for researchers, engineers, product developers, laboratory professionals, and industrial testing teams requiring accurate non-contact temperature measurement and advanced thermal analysis capabilities.

Built around the FLIR A400 thermal imaging camera with 320 × 240 thermal resolution, the Professional Science Kit provides a streamlined platform for thermal data acquisition, image streaming, recording, analysis, and reporting. The system is ideally suited for electronics testing, battery development, product validation, failure analysis, process monitoring, aerospace research, materials testing, and scientific investigations.

The Professional Science Kit expands upon the Standard Science Kit by adding MSX® image enhancement, radiometric Wi-Fi connectivity, a visual camera, and close-up measurement capability for improved analysis of small components and detailed thermal targets. The included FLIR Research Studio software enables users to connect, view, record, analyse, and share thermal data through a simplified workflow.

The A400 platform provides high-quality radiometric thermal imaging with motorised automatic, remote, and manual focus options. Gigabit Ethernet and Power over Ethernet connectivity support integration into laboratory, automation, and research environments, while Wi-Fi capability allows remote operation and thermal data transmission.

The system supports interchangeable lens options, allowing users to optimise thermal measurement performance for specific applications ranging from close-up electronics analysis to large-scale thermal monitoring projects.
