DESCRIPTION:

The Rohde & Schwarz RTH1024 is a professional four-channel handheld oscilloscope from the RTH Scope Rider family, providing 200 MHz bandwidth and four fully isolated input channels for safe and flexible measurements in industrial, electrical, and field service environments. Combining laboratory-grade oscilloscope performance with a rugged portable design, the RTH1024 is ideally suited for engineers and technicians working on complex electrical and electronic systems.

The fully isolated channel architecture enables safe floating measurements on power converters, motor drives, renewable energy systems, industrial automation equipment, switchgear, electrical distribution systems, and embedded electronics. Each channel is galvanically isolated, eliminating many of the grounding restrictions encountered with conventional oscilloscopes and allowing simultaneous measurements at different reference potentials.

With a maximum sampling rate of up to 5 GSa/s and 10-bit analog-to-digital conversion, the RTH1024 provides excellent waveform fidelity and signal resolution. Fast acquisition rates and deep memory allow engineers to capture transient events, switching waveforms, intermittent faults, and complex control signals while preserving detailed waveform information.

The instrument features a bright 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display combined with dedicated hardware controls for efficient operation in workshop, laboratory, and field environments. Battery-powered operation allows measurements to be performed in locations where mains power is unavailable, while the IP51-rated housing provides protection against dust and splashing water in demanding industrial conditions.

The four-channel configuration makes the RTH1024 particularly valuable for analysing multi-signal systems, control loops, communications buses, synchronized events, and power electronics applications. Optional upgrades provide protocol triggering and decoding, mixed-signal analysis, logic channels, spectrum analysis, harmonic analysis, advanced triggering functions, and wireless connectivity.
