€5,350.00

The Rohde & Schwarz MXO34-100 is a four-channel 100 MHz digital oscilloscope featuring a true 12-bit ADC, up to 5 GSa/s sampling rate, 125 Mpoints memory depth per channel, acquisition rates exceeding 4.5 million waveforms per second, 18-bit HD mode, integrated spectrum analysis, advanced digital triggering, and an 11.6-inch Full HD capacitive touchscreen display. Designed for embedded systems, industrial automation, power electronics, communications engineering, and advanced mixed-signal development applications.

DESCRIPTION:

The Rohde & Schwarz MXO34-100 is the entry-bandwidth model within the MXO 3 four-channel oscilloscope family. Despite its 100 MHz bandwidth rating, it incorporates the complete MXO architecture, providing performance levels that significantly exceed traditional entry-level oscilloscopes. The platform combines four analogue channels, industry-leading waveform acquisition rates, deep memory, advanced triggering technology, and integrated spectrum analysis within a compact laboratory instrument.

At the heart of the MXO34-100 is a true 12-bit analog-to-digital converter operating at full resolution across all sampling rates. Compared with conventional 8-bit oscilloscopes, the architecture delivers sixteen times greater vertical resolution, allowing engineers to identify subtle signal variations, power rail ripple, switching noise, transient disturbances, jitter effects, and signal integrity issues with substantially greater clarity. Integrated HD mode further increases effective resolution to as much as 18 bits for precision measurement applications.

The oscilloscope supports sampling rates up to 5 GSa/s and provides 125 Mpoints acquisition memory per channel as standard. Optional upgrades expand memory depth to 500 Mpoints per channel. This deep memory architecture enables long-duration waveform captures while maintaining fine timing resolution, making the MXO34-100 particularly effective for analysing embedded processors, industrial control systems, communications interfaces, power converters, sensor networks, and complex transient events.

A defining characteristic of the MXO platform is its waveform acquisition performance. The MXO34-100 captures more than 4.5 million waveforms per second while providing up to 99% real-time signal visibility. This dramatically increases the probability of detecting intermittent faults, rare glitches, timing violations, protocol errors, and sporadic disturbances that often remain hidden on conventional oscilloscopes.

Integrated spectrum analysis performs up to 50,000 FFT calculations per second with independent time-domain and frequency-domain controls. Engineers can perform EMI investigations, harmonics analysis, switching power supply development, RF troubleshooting, and mixed-domain debugging without requiring a dedicated spectrum analyzer.

Advanced triggering capabilities include edge, pulse width, runt, glitch, timeout, setup-and-hold, logic, pattern, zone, serial bus, spectrum, and math triggering. Trigger rearm times below 21 ns and trigger jitter as low as 1 ps provide exceptional event isolation performance during validation and troubleshooting activities.

The large 11.6-inch Full HD touchscreen provides extensive workspace for waveform analysis, protocol decoding, FFT measurements, automated measurements, and mixed-domain investigations. The platform can be expanded with optional 16-channel logic analysis, arbitrary waveform generation, protocol decoding packages, power analysis applications, automotive Ethernet analysis, and frequency response analysis functionality.
