The Yokogawa WT310E is a compact precision single-phase digital power meter designed for high accuracy AC and DC power measurement, standby power analysis, harmonics testing, inverter evaluation, and energy efficiency measurement applications.



DESCRIPTION:

The Yokogawa WT310E is a high accuracy single-phase digital power meter within the Yokogawa WT300E Series designed for laboratory, production, compliance, and industrial electrical measurement applications. The instrument provides simultaneous measurement of voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, frequency, harmonics, and integration parameters for detailed AC and DC power analysis across a wide range of electrical systems and electronic devices.

The WT310E delivers basic power accuracy of ±0.1% of reading + 0.05% of range at 50/60 Hz with measurement bandwidth from DC and 0.1 Hz up to 100 kHz. The instrument supports direct voltage inputs from 15 V to 600 V and direct current inputs from 5 mA up to 20 A with low current measurement capability down to 50 µA for standby power and low power consumption analysis applications. The platform supports simultaneous harmonics measurement and integration functions without requiring mode switching, making the unit suitable for inverter testing, switching power supply analysis, household appliance evaluation, motor drive development, battery powered device testing, and IEC62301 / Energy Star standby power compliance measurements.

The WT310E features high-speed digital sampling with data update rates down to 100 ms for dynamic waveform analysis and fluctuating load evaluation. Harmonic analysis and total harmonic distortion (THD) measurement up to the 50th order are available with the optional G5 harmonics function. The analyser supports simultaneous RMS, mean, and DC measurement functions together with automatic ranging in integration mode for uninterrupted long-duration efficiency testing and energy consumption analysis.

Communication interfaces include standard USB connectivity with optional GP-IB, RS-232, and Ethernet Modbus/TCP capability depending on configuration. The compact bench-top platform includes fast numeric display updates, comparator functionality, waveform filtering capability, and integration measurement support for production QA, renewable energy analysis, UPS testing, industrial troubleshooting, and precision energy efficiency validation workflows.
