DESCRIPTION:

The Delta Elektronika SM52-30 Z032 is a 1500W programmable DC power supply designed for precision laboratory, industrial, and automated test applications requiring stable regulated DC output performance. The unit provides an output range of 0-52V and 0-30A with precision voltage and current regulation suitable for electronics development, telecommunications infrastructure, semiconductor processing, battery charging and discharge testing, aerospace systems, PWM-controlled DC motor testing, and production environments.

The SM52-30 utilises high efficiency switch mode power conversion technology with efficiencies up to 91%, low ripple and noise characteristics, and excellent dynamic response performance for demanding dynamic load applications. Recovery time from a 50-100% load step is specified from 100µs with very low output ripple from 1.8mV RMS / 8mV peak-to-peak.

Designed within the Delta Elektronika SM1500 series platform, the unit supports 0-5V analogue programming, voltage and current monitoring, remote sensing, interlock functionality, and automated instrumentation system integration capability. Master/slave series and parallel operation with voltage and current sharing are supported for higher power system configurations. Optional interfaces include Ethernet, RS232, IEEE488, CAN, PROFIBUS, isolated analogue programming, sequencer functionality, and high-speed programming configurations depending on system requirements.

The compact 2U high-density design incorporates temperature-controlled forced-air cooling together with integrated overload, short-circuit, overvoltage, and thermal protection systems. The unit supports universal 90-265V AC input operation with active power factor correction and EMC performance exceeding CE requirements for low emission and high immunity industrial environments.
