DESCRIPTION:
The Extech AN250W is a handheld air velocity (anemometer) and temperature meter designed for HVAC, building diagnostics, and environmental airflow assessments. It features a Bluetooth® connection to the free ExView app(iOS/Android), enabling live remote viewing, data logging, trend display, alarm setup, and export of measurements and reports directly from a smartphone or tablet. The unit simultaneously displays air velocity and ambient temperature on a large backlit LCD and offers Max/Average recordings, data-hold, auto power-off, and a standard ¼-20 tripod mount for stable sampling. Typical applications include ventilation evaluation, system commissioning, fan and airflow checks, and building performance assessments.
