The Delta Elektronika SM 70-22 is a 1500W programmable DC power supply designed for precision laboratory, industrial, and automated test applications requiring stable regulated DC output capability. The unit provides an output range of 0-70V and 0-22A with precision voltage and current regulation suitable for telecommunications infrastructure, industrial automation, endurance testing, automotive electronics development, component validation, battery charging systems, and production environments.
The SM 70-22 utilises high efficiency switch mode power conversion technology with efficiencies up to 91%, low ripple and noise characteristics from 1.8mV RMS / 8mV peak-to-peak, and fast recovery time performance from 100µs under dynamic load conditions. Designed within the Delta Elektronika SM1500 series platform, the unit supports analogue programming with programming accuracy from 0.2%, voltage and current monitoring, remote sensing, interlock functionality, and automated instrumentation system integration capability. Master/slave series and parallel operation is supported for higher voltage or current system configurations. Optional high-speed programming, Ethernet, RS232, IEEE488, and isolated interface modules are available depending on application requirements.
The compact 2U high-density design incorporates temperature-controlled forced-air cooling together with integrated overload, short-circuit, overvoltage, and thermal protection systems. The unit supports universal 90-265V AC input operation with active power factor correction and EMC performance exceeding CE requirements for low emission and high immunity industrial environments. MTBF is specified at 500,000 hours.
