A defining feature of the RTM3000 family is its custom-designed 10-bit analog-to-digital converter. Compared with conventional 8-bit oscilloscopes, the RTM3002 delivers four times the vertical resolution, allowing engineers to identify low-level signal details, transient disturbances, power supply ripple, switching noise, and signal integrity problems with significantly greater clarity.
The oscilloscope supports real-time sampling rates up to 5 GSa/s and provides up to 40 Mpoints acquisition memory per channel, extending to 80 Mpoints in interleaved operation. This deep memory architecture allows long-duration waveform captures while maintaining high timing resolution, making the instrument particularly effective for analysing serial buses, embedded systems, communications interfaces, switching power supplies, industrial control systems, and transient events.
