€2,140.00

The Rohde & Schwarz RTB22 configured with the RTB-B241 bandwidth upgrade delivers 100 MHz performance in a two-channel oscilloscope platform featuring a custom 10-bit ADC, up to 2.5 GSa/s sampling rate, 20 Mpoints memory depth, mixed-signal capability, integrated waveform generation, protocol analysis options, and a large 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display.

DESCRIPTION:

The Rohde & Schwarz RTB22 configured with the RTB-B241 bandwidth upgrade extends the RTB22 platform to 100 MHz while retaining the full feature set of the RTB 2 Series architecture. Designed for embedded systems development, electronics education, industrial automation, power electronics, manufacturing diagnostics, and laboratory applications, the RTB22 combines professional oscilloscope performance with an intuitive operating environment and extensive integrated functionality.

A defining characteristic of the RTB platform is its custom-designed 10-bit analog-to-digital converter. Compared with conventional 8-bit oscilloscopes, the RTB22 provides four times the vertical resolution, allowing engineers to identify low-level signal details, power supply ripple, transient disturbances, switching noise, and signal integrity issues with significantly greater clarity.

The oscilloscope supports real-time sampling rates up to 2.5 GSa/s and offers memory depths of up to 20 Mpoints in interleaved operation. This combination of bandwidth, deep memory, and high sampling performance enables detailed analysis of microcontroller systems, serial communication buses, switching power supplies, industrial control electronics, sensor interfaces, and embedded designs. Waveform acquisition rates of up to 50,000 waveforms per second improve the probability of capturing intermittent faults and sporadic signal anomalies.

The RTB22 incorporates a comprehensive suite of measurement and analysis tools as standard. These include FFT spectrum analysis, digital voltmeter functionality, frequency counter measurements, automatic measurements, mathematical analysis, mask testing, segmented memory acquisition, and history mode recording. A built-in 25 MHz arbitrary waveform generator and pattern generator further expand the instrument's capabilities, allowing signal generation and stimulus testing without requiring additional bench instruments.

The platform is MSO-ready and can be expanded with optional mixed-signal functionality supporting up to 16 digital channels. Optional protocol triggering and decoding support I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, CAN, and LIN communications, making the instrument particularly valuable for embedded system development, industrial automation troubleshooting, and communications interface analysis.

The large 10.1-inch WXGA capacitive touchscreen provides exceptional visibility and ease of operation. Engineers can simultaneously view analog waveforms, digital channels, protocol decodes, FFT results, and automated measurements on a single display. Combined with dedicated hardware controls and rapid startup times, the RTB22 is optimized for efficient daily use in development laboratories, educational facilities, manufacturing environments, and service centres.
