The PeakTech P 5055 Digital Sound Level Meter is a compact handheld instrument for measuring environmental noise levels with high accuracy and flexibility. It features a 3½-digit 17 mm LCD display with function symbols, manual selection between two measurement ranges, and both A and C weighting for comprehensive sound assessment. Fast/Slow response modes, data hold and maximum value holding provide useful tools for detailed acoustic analysis, while a built-in calibration check at 94 dB ensures reliable performance.
