DESCRIPTION:
The PeakTech® P 1655 is a rugged True RMS AC/DC clamp meter designed for professional electrical diagnostics in industrial and field environments. It measures alternating and direct currents up to 1500 A via an integrated clamp with a 55 mm opening, and features a high-resolution 40 000-count LCD with backlight and bargraph for clear visualization of readings. True RMS processing ensures accurate readings on non-sinusoidal waveforms. In addition to current, the meter includes comprehensive multimeter functions such as AC/DC voltage, resistance, frequency, capacitance, and temperature (via included Type-K probe). It also offers continuity and diode testing, inrush current (starting current) detection, peak value capture, and a non-contact voltage (NCV) indicator. Safety is rated to EN 61010-1 CAT III 1000 V / CAT IV 600 V, making the instrument suitable for a wide range of electrical testing and maintenance applications.
