DESCRIPTION:
The PeakTech® P 1636 is a dedicated leakage current clamp meter designed to measure alternating current (AC) with a focus on detecting small leakage currents with high resolution. The instrument uses clamp-on jaws to sense current magnetically without requiring direct connection to the circuit. It can resolve very small AC currents down to 100 µA for leakage detection while also measuring larger AC currents up to 200 A with appropriate scaling. The digital LCD displaywith backlight facilitates easy reading of measurements, and built-in functions such as MAX capture, data hold, and auto power-off improve usability in field diagnostic and troubleshooting tasks. The compact clamp with a ~29 mm jaw opening and pocket-sized body make it convenient for electricians, HVAC technicians, and maintenance engineers.
