DESCRIPTION:
The PeakTech P 1635 is a compact leakage current clamp meter designed to measure both AC and DC currents with a focus on small “creep” or leakage currents as well as general current measurement up to 80 A. Its magnetic clamp jaws allow contactless current sensing without disconnecting conductors, making it especially useful for diagnosing current draw in automotive circuits, appliance leakage testing, or general electrical troubleshooting. With a measurement resolution down to 1 mA in the low range and 0.1 A in the higher range, the P 1635 provides fine resolution for detailed diagnostics. The unit includes a backlit LCD with 2400-count resolution, data hold, zero/reset, an integrated LED flashlight, and a non-contact voltage (NCV) detector for preliminary live voltage detection. It meets EN 61010-1 CAT III 600 V safety standards and comes with a carrying case, batteries, and manual.
