DESCRIPTION:
The Extech MO290-P is a replacement/contact moisture pin probe designed specifically for use with the Extech MO290 (and compatible MO29X series) pinless moisture psychrometer/environmental meter. It features dual sharp pinsthat penetrate material surfaces to measure moisture content directly and is connected via a ~3 ft (0.9 m) cable to the meter. The pin probe enhances the MO290’s capability by providing contact moisture readings — particularly useful in materials or locations where pinless measurements alone are less effective. This accessory is ideal for restoration work, building inspections, and assessments of wood and other building materials when precise contact moisture detection is needed.
