DESCRIPTION:
The Extech MO290-EP is an extension moisture probe designed as an accessory for the Extech Moisture Meter 99 Max mo290 Extech MO290 series of moisture meters (including models such as MO290, MO295). This accessory adds a 30 inch (~76 cm) cable with dual sharp pins (~3.4 in/8.5 cm long) to increase the effective working distance of the standard pin probe, enabling moisture testing in hard-to-reach areas. When used together with optional probe extenders (e.g., MO290-EXT), the working distance can be extended further — up to ~23 inches with two extenders attached. This extension probe is ideal for deeper penetration into insulation, wall cavities, or materials where the standard probe is too short for effective measurement.
