DESCRIPTION:
The Extech MO280 is a pinless moisture meter designed to quickly and reliably measure the moisture content (%) in wood and a variety of building materials without penetrating the surface, helping avoid damage during inspection and testing. It uses electromagnetic technology to sense moisture content up to approximately 20–22 mm (0.75 in) below the surface, and provides a clear digital indication on its LCD display. Users can select from multiple material or wood types to tailor the reading to the specific application. Built-in features such as automatic internal test and calibration, low battery indicator, and data hold make it suitable for contractors, flooring installers, home inspectors, restoration professionals, and general building diagnostics.
