DESCRIPTION:
The Extech MO265 is a versatile combination pin/pinless moisture meter that enables both non-invasive moisture assessment and direct pin contact measurement, ideal for building inspection, restoration, woodworking, and moisture diagnostics. Its electromagnetic pinless sensor measures relative moisture from 0 to 99.9 % up to about 22 mm (0.75 in) beneath the surface, while the remote pin probe delivers %WME (wood moisture equivalent) readings for materials such as sheetrock and wood where direct contact is needed. Readings are shown on a digital backlit LCDaccompanied by a tri-color LED bargraph providing quick wet/dry indication. Additional features include replaceable electrode pins, built-in calibration check, low battery indication, and a protective cap for the pins. The kit typically includes the meter, remote pin probe (MO-P1), replacement pins, 9 V battery, protective cap, and pouch case.
