DESCRIPTION:

The Rohde & Schwarz LCX200 is a premium laboratory LCR meter developed for demanding component measurement applications in research laboratories, design engineering, manufacturing, incoming inspection, and quality assurance environments. As part of the R&S Essentials portfolio, the LCX200 combines high measurement accuracy, advanced analysis capabilities, and intuitive touchscreen operation within a compact bench-top platform.

The instrument supports a comprehensive range of measurement functions including impedance (Z), resistance (R), capacitance (C), inductance (L), reactance (X), admittance (Y), conductance (G), susceptance (B), dissipation factor (D), quality factor (Q), phase angle, mutual inductance, and transformer turns ratio measurements. This versatility allows engineers to fully characterize passive components and magnetic devices using a single instrument.

The LCX200 operates from DC and 4 Hz to 500 kHz in its standard configuration and can be upgraded through software options to 1 MHz or 10 MHz without hardware modification. This scalability allows users to expand capability as application requirements evolve.

A basic impedance measurement accuracy of ±0.05% and phase accuracy of ±0.03° provide the precision required for demanding component evaluation and production testing. Four measurement speed settings, including superfast measurements as low as 4 ms, enable both detailed laboratory analysis and high-throughput manufacturing applications.

The LCX200 features a large capacitive touchscreen that supports simultaneous display of up to four measurement parameters.
