The Rohde & Schwarz FSH20 is a rugged handheld spectrum analyzer covering frequencies from 9 kHz to 20 GHz. Designed for RF field measurements, microwave link installation, transmitter testing, spectrum monitoring, interference hunting, antenna system verification, and telecommunications maintenance, it combines laboratory-grade RF performance with a portable field-ready platform.

DESCRIPTION:

The Rohde & Schwarz FSH20 is a professional handheld spectrum analyzer engineered for demanding field and laboratory RF measurement applications. Covering frequencies from 9 kHz to 20 GHz, the instrument provides comprehensive analysis capabilities for telecommunications infrastructure, microwave links, satellite communications, broadcast systems, aerospace applications, defence communications, and general RF troubleshooting.

The FSH20 forms part of the highly regarded FSH family and combines spectrum analysis, field measurement capability, and optional network analysis functions within a compact, rugged instrument. The platform is designed specifically for engineers working in outdoor environments where portability, reliability, and measurement accuracy are critical.

With optional preamplifier functionality, the analyzer achieves excellent sensitivity of better than -161 dBm (1 Hz), enabling reliable detection of weak signals and low-level interference sources. High dynamic range, low phase noise, and excellent amplitude accuracy make the instrument suitable for demanding RF investigations and microwave system verification.

The rugged splash-proof housing is designed for field deployment and incorporates a large colour display, dedicated hard keys, USB and LAN connectivity, internal battery operation, and support for advanced measurement applications. Optional capabilities include tracking generator functions, cable and antenna measurements, VSWR testing, distance-to-fault analysis, power sensor support, and network analysis functions.

Weighing approximately 3 kg and offering battery operation of up to approximately 4.5 hours, the FSH20 provides a practical solution for technicians performing measurements at telecommunications sites, broadcast facilities, remote installations, military communications systems, and industrial RF networks.
