The Bird FH-AV-BASIC is a SiteHawk™ antenna and cable analyzer starter kit designed for field technicians performing installation, verification, and troubleshooting of RF transmission lines and antenna systems. It provides core measurement capability for VSWR, return loss, cable loss, and distance-to-fault (DTF), supporting commissioning and preventative maintenance workflows across land mobile radio, broadcast, utilities, and telecom environments.

Built around the portable SiteHawk™ handheld analyzer platform, the FH-AV-BASIC configuration includes essential calibration components and field accessories required for accurate RF path verification. The analyzer enables rapid identification of impedance mismatches, damaged connectors, moisture ingress, and feedline degradation through frequency-domain reflectometry techniques.

The compact, battery-powered instrument is suited to tower, rooftop, and equipment room deployments, with data storage and USB connectivity to support reporting and documentation requirements.
