DESCRIPTION:
The Extech EZ40 EzFlex Combustible Gas Detector is a portable instrument engineered to quickly identify and locate combustible gas leaks in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Featuring a 16 inch (406 mm) flexible gooseneck probe, it enables access to confined or awkward spaces for efficient leak detection. The detector utilises a solid-state sensor and offers visible and audible alarms at 10 % of the lower explosive limit (LEL) for methane, helping technicians detect even small amounts of gas. With a fast response time and simple one-hand operation via a thumb-controlled sensitivity adjustment, the EZ40 is suitable for HVAC service technicians, safety inspectors, and maintenance personnel.
