DESCRIPTION:
The Bird E485A is a 4-port electronic calibration (ECal) module designed to provide fast, accurate, and repeatable calibration for multi-port vector network analyzers. Fitted with 3.5 mm female connectors, the module electronically presents calibrated standards to the VNA, removing the need for manual connection of individual calibration components.

The E485A supports full multi-port calibration, enabling accurate S-parameter measurements across four ports, including return loss, insertion loss, isolation, coupling, and phase. It reduces calibration time and minimises user handling errors, making it suitable for laboratory, production, and advanced field measurement environments.

The module is compatible with Bird modular vector network analyzers and is suited to telecoms, broadcast, aerospace, defence, and general RF and microwave engineering applications.
