DESCRIPTION:
The Bird E285A is a 2-port electronic calibration (ECal) module designed to provide fast, accurate, and repeatable calibration for vector network analyzers. Fitted with 3.5 mm female connectors, the module simplifies the calibration process by electronically presenting calibrated standards to the VNA without the need for manual connection of individual calibration components.

The E285A supports full two-port calibration, enabling accurate S-parameter measurements including return loss, insertion loss, isolation, and phase. It reduces calibration time and minimises user handling errors, making it suitable for laboratory, production, and field measurement environments where efficiency and repeatability are required.

The module is compatible with Bird vector network analyzers and is used in telecoms, broadcast, aerospace, defence, and general RF and microwave engineering applications.
