DESCRIPTION:

The Franklin Grid CELLTRON™ Ultra Battery Tester Kit is an advanced handheld battery analysis platform designed for testing and maintenance of stationary battery systems operating within UPS systems, utility substations, telecommunications infrastructure, data centres, rail systems, renewable energy installations, and industrial DC backup power environments.

The CELLTRON™ Ultra combines advanced conductance testing technology with portable battery diagnostics capability for rapid evaluation of battery state-of-health, battery degradation, and intercell connection integrity without requiring battery discharge testing. The platform is specifically designed for reliable operation within environments containing high levels of electrical interference noise including large UPS installations and utility battery systems.

The analyzer supports testing of lead-acid batteries from 2V to 16V including batteries operating both in-service and out-of-service. Measurement capability includes voltage testing from 1.5–20.0 VDC, conductance testing from 100–19,990 Siemens, AC/DC voltage measurement, AC/DC current measurement, and ripple current analysis using integrated multimeter and scope functionality.

The testing platform incorporates a backlit graphical LCD display, integrated infrared data transmission, removable SD card storage, interchangeable probe and clamp interfaces, rechargeable onboard battery system, and built-in data management functionality. Internal storage supports up to 500 string locations with 480 test results per string together with battery management support for over 250 pre-loaded battery reference values.

The complete test kit includes the CELLTRON™ Ultra battery analyzer, dual contact probes, probe extenders, test clamps, infrared temperature sensor, portable infrared printer, rechargeable battery packs, SD card storage, backpack carrying system, and CELLTRAQ™ Express battery asset management software for centralized reporting and historical battery analysis workflows.

Designed for continuous field deployment, the CELLTRON™ Ultra supports preventive maintenance programs, predictive battery diagnostics, battery replacement planning, compliance-focused maintenance activities, and operational reliability analysis across mission-critical stationary battery infrastructures.
