The Franklin Grid CELLTRON™ Advantage Digital 5000 Basic Battery Testing Kit is a handheld battery diagnostic platform designed for complete battery state-of-health analysis within utility substations, telecommunications infrastructure, UPS systems, rail systems, renewable energy installations, industrial DC backup power environments, and data centre power infrastructures.
The testing platform provides conductance testing, voltage measurement, temperature monitoring, and strap resistance analysis for Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA), Vented Lead Acid (VLA), and Nickel Cadmium (NiCad) stationary battery systems. The tester supports battery voltage measurement from 0.8–23.5 VDC together with conductance measurement from 100–19,990 Siemens for predictive maintenance and battery lifecycle analysis applications.
The CELLTRON™ Advantage Digital incorporates dual-microprocessor architecture with digital signal filtering technology for reliable operation within electrically noisy UPS and industrial power environments. Integrated “Edge Rejection” technology filters anomalies at the beginning and end of sample signals to improve battery state-of-health measurement accuracy and diagnostic stability.
The tester includes built-in Wi-Fi communications and USB connectivity allowing battery test data to be wirelessly uploaded to the UNITE™ Battery Asset Management Database for centralized reporting, predictive maintenance analysis, compliance documentation, and historical trending workflows. Internal memory supports storage of up to 50 battery strings with 240 test results per string together with unlimited export capability to USB storage devices.
The Basic Kit configuration includes the CELLTRON™ Advantage Digital tester, rechargeable battery pack, universal charger, 1 metre USB cable, belt loop, protective backpack, and free 90-day UNITE™ trial subscription. The rugged handheld tester incorporates integrated illuminated probe interfaces, acid-resistant housing construction, reverse polarity protection, and fast-acting over-voltage protection for field deployment within mission-critical battery maintenance environments.
Designed for continuous field deployment, the CELLTRON™ Advantage Digital 5000 Basic Kit supports preventive maintenance, battery replacement planning, compliance-focused inspection programs, and operational reliability analysis across critical stationary battery infrastructures.
