The Franklin Grid CA096 is a professional desktop rapid battery charger designed for use with CELLTRON™ Advantage 7.2V NiMH rechargeable battery packs within critical power maintenance and battery diagnostics environments. The charger provides rapid charging capability for field-service battery testing systems used across UPS installations, telecom infrastructure, utilities, rail systems, and data centre battery maintenance applications.

Designed specifically for compatibility with the CA090 CELLTRON™ Advantage battery pack, the CA096 supports rapid charging to approximately 80% capacity within 1 to 2.5 hours before transitioning to trickle charging for full battery conditioning. Automatic negative delta voltage detection helps protect the battery pack from overcharging while maintaining dependable charging performance.

The charger includes an AC power adapter supporting universal 120–240V AC input operation with 12V DC 2.5A output capability, making it suitable for international field-service and workshop environments.
