Research-grade thermal imaging camera series featuring 640 × 480 thermal resolution, radiometric temperature measurement, GigE Vision connectivity, and a wide range of lens options for electronics testing, industrial R&D, aerospace, manufacturing, scientific research, and automation applications.
DESCRIPTION:
The FLIR A655sc Series is a high-resolution scientific thermal imaging platform designed for researchers, engineers, system integrators, and industrial users requiring precise non-contact temperature measurement and thermal analysis. Built around a 640 × 480 uncooled microbolometer detector, the A655sc delivers full radiometric thermal data at every pixel, enabling accurate thermal characterization of products, materials, processes, and electronic systems.
The camera is widely deployed in research laboratories, aerospace facilities, electronics development environments, manufacturing operations, automotive testing centres, and industrial automation systems. GigE Vision and GenICam compliance allow seamless integration into machine vision systems, automated test equipment, environmental chambers, and custom research platforms.
The A655sc supports real-time radiometric streaming, external triggering, synchronization functions, and compatibility with FLIR ResearchIR and Science Camera SDK software. Multiple lens options allow the platform to be configured for wide-area monitoring, component-level inspection, long-distance measurement, and microscopic thermal analysis applications.
Its combination of high resolution, excellent thermal sensitivity, industrial connectivity, and flexible optics has made the A655sc one of FLIR's most widely adopted scientific and industrial research cameras.
