DESCRIPTION

The Bird 8890-300 Series comprises rugged, oil-cooled RF terminations rated for continuous 2.5 kW operation. These self-contained loads use a precision resistive element immersed in dielectric oil for thermal stability and low reflected power across a broad frequency range. Compatible with Bird’s Quick-Change connector system and multiple coax interfaces, they are suitable for transmitter tuning, RF calibration, system bench use, and service applications requiring long-duration thermal stability.
