DESCRIPTION:

Bird 8630B Series terminations are self-contained, forced-air and water-cooled 10 kW RF dummy loads designed to dissipate continuous high power while minimising VSWR (maximum ~1.1:1 from 1 kHz to 1000 MHz). These loads combine a potable water cooling medium with blower/forced-air assistance to control temperature, making them suitable for transmitter testing, bench use, and system terminations in RF environments. Units are built for horizontal installation and include interlock control features to protect both the load and transmitter should cooling fail.
