The Bird Technologies 7022-1-020201 Statistical Power Sensor is a rugged, field-ready RF sensor engineered for comprehensive RF power diagnostics across 350 MHz to 6000 MHz. Unlike basic power sensors that measure only average power, this model adds statistical sampling and time-domain measurement capabilities — enabling deep insight into complex and digitally modulated signals (such as LTE, UMTS, EVDO, and HDTV) that exhibit varying peak-to-average characteristics.
Operating in conventional, statistical, and time-domain modes, the 7022-1-020201 provides average forward and reflected power data alongside measurements of peak events, envelope shapes, and statistical distributions. Its NIST-traceable calibration and USB 2.0 interface make it suitable for both lab and field setups where advanced signal characterization is required.
