DESCRIPTION
The Bird Standard E Series Plug-In Elements cover the 400–1000 MHz frequency range and are available in full-scale power ratings from 5 W through 500 W. This series is divided into two calibrated sub-bands:

E-800 (800–1000 MHz)
These 7/8 inch interchangeable directional RF elements are designed for use with Bird 43, 4431, and compatible wattmeters in 50 ohm transmission systems.
The E Series supports upper UHF applications including cellular infrastructure, trunked radio systems, microwave backhaul interfaces, and high-frequency commercial RF installations. Measurement of forward or reflected power is determined by element orientation within the wattmeter line section.
Each element is a passive precision-calibrated device manufactured to Bird’s plug-in architecture, ensuring repeatable accuracy, mechanical durability, and long-term stability in high-frequency service environments.
