DESCRIPTION
The Bird Standard C Series Plug-In Elements cover the 100–250 MHz frequency range and are available in full-scale power ratings from 5 W through 5 kW. These 7/8 inch interchangeable directional RF elements are designed for use with Bird 43, 4431, and compatible wattmeters in 50 ohm transmission systems.
The C Series is suited for VHF high-band applications including land mobile radio, public safety networks, aviation communications, and broadcast auxiliary systems. Elements measure forward or reflected RF power depending on orientation within the wattmeter line section.
Each element is a passive, precision-calibrated device manufactured to Bird’s established plug-in architecture, providing repeatable measurement accuracy, mechanical robustness, and long-term field stability.
