DESCRIPTION
The Bird Standard B Series Plug-In Elements cover the 50–125 MHz frequency range and are available in full-scale power ratings from 5 W through 5 kW. These 7/8 inch interchangeable directional elements are engineered for use with Bird 43, 4431, and compatible wattmeters operating in 50 ohm transmission systems.
The B Series is suited for mid-band VHF applications including FM broadcast, land mobile radio, public safety communications, and general RF service environments. Elements provide measurement of forward or reflected RF power depending on orientation within the line section.
Each unit is a passive precision-calibrated element built to Bird’s established plug-in architecture, ensuring mechanical durability, repeatable accuracy, and long-term stability in field and laboratory measurement applications.
