DESCRIPTION
The Bird 5-T and 5-NT Series are precision 50 Ohm coaxial RF terminations rated for 5 Watt continuous power dissipation under natural convection cooling. These compact dry loads are designed to provide stable impedance matching for RF test benches, transmitter outputs, receiver inputs, signal generators, and system integration environments where proper line termination is essential to minimise reflected power and maintain measurement accuracy.
Engineered for broadband operation across VHF and UHF frequency ranges, the 5-T Series offers low VSWR performance and dependable resistive loading in a rugged coaxial form factor. The units are constructed to withstand continuous low-power RF exposure while maintaining impedance stability.
Connector options include N-type and TNC interfaces in both male and female configurations, allowing straightforward integration into standard 50 Ohm RF systems. These terminations are commonly used for port loading, equipment protection, troubleshooting, calibration setups, and general RF system validation.
