DESCRIPTION:
The Extech 45170 is a versatile 4-in-1 environmental meter designed for comprehensive on-site measurements of air velocity, humidity, temperature, and light. Its rugged, pocket-sized housing features a large dual LCD that simultaneously displays temperature and air velocity or relative humidity, simplifying multi-parameter diagnostics. A low-friction vane wheel ensures accurate air velocity readings across common units, while precision sensors deliver fast responses for humidity and ambient temperature. The instrument also accepts an optional Type K thermocouple probe for extended temperature measurements. Additional functions include data hold, MIN/MAX recording, and automatic power-off, making the 45170 suitable for HVAC testing, facility maintenance, and general environmental assessments.
