Bird Sampler and Non-Directional Plug-In Elements are 7/8 inch interchangeable elements designed for RF signal sampling applications within 50 ohm transmission systems. Unlike standard directional power elements, sampler elements provide a low-level RF sample output suitable for monitoring, spectrum analysis, or external instrumentation.

These elements are commonly used where signal observation is required without significantly loading the transmission line. They are compatible with Bird 43 and related wattmeter line sections configured for sampler operation.

Sampler elements operate across frequency ranges typically covering 25 MHz to 1000 MHz, depending on the specific model.
