DESCRIPTION
The Bird Standard H Series Plug-In Elements cover the 2–30 MHz frequency range and are available in full-scale power ratings from 5 W through 5 kW. These 7/8 inch interchangeable directional RF elements are designed for use with Bird 43, 4431, and compatible wattmeters operating in 50 ohm transmission systems.
The H Series supports HF applications including shortwave broadcast, maritime communications, military HF systems, amateur radio, and industrial RF platforms operating within the lower frequency spectrum. Forward or reflected power measurement is determined by orientation within the wattmeter line section.
Each element is a passive, precision-calibrated device manufactured to Bird’s established plug-in element architecture, ensuring mechanical robustness, repeatable measurement accuracy, and long-term stability in demanding RF environments.
