DESCRIPTION:

Megger 1005-268 is a screened high-voltage insulation test lead set designed for use with Megger 15 kV insulation resistance testers, including instruments in the MIT and S1 series. The lead set features 15 m flexible screened PVC cable rated for 15 kV DC, allowing safe connection when performing insulation resistance testing on high-voltage electrical equipment. 

The screened cable construction helps reduce measurement interference by routing induced noise currents away from the measurement circuit via the guard connection. The set includes large insulated HV test clips suitable for attaching to larger conductors or terminals and is supplied in a carry hold-all for storage and transport. 

This lead set forms part of Megger’s range of 5 kV, 10 kV and 15 kV insulation tester lead accessories, enabling reliable high-voltage insulation testing of cables, transformers, switchgear and other electrical infrastructure.
