DESCRIPTION:

Megger 1002-641 is a high-voltage insulation test lead set designed for use with compatible Megger MIT and S1 series 5 kV and 10 kV insulation resistance testers. The set includes three 5 m colour-coded test leads (red, blue and black) fitted with 6 kV medium insulated crocodile clips, allowing secure hands-free connection to conductors and terminals during insulation resistance testing. 

The medium-size insulated clips provide a compact connection solution where larger clips cannot be accommodated. Each clip has a maximum jaw opening of approximately 18 mm, making the leads suitable for connecting to smaller terminals while maintaining a reliable electrical connection. 

Constructed using flexible dual-insulated silicone cable, the leads maintain durability and flexibility in demanding field environments. They are intended for insulation testing of electrical installations such as cables, switchgear, transformers and motors when used with Megger insulation resistance testers operating at lower test voltages within the instrument’s range.
